Milwaukee + Motorcycle Doesn’t Always Have To Mean Harley

It was a while ago that I sold my first motorcycle so ever since then I’ve been getting around on four wheels but since last week, it looks like that’s going to change.

The minute I saw a picture of the Sachs MadAss I knew I wanted one. The rugged, down-to-the-basics look of this German-engineered machine appealed to me right off the bat and since the price of a new MadAss was entirely reasonable, I soon found myself walking into Moto-Scoot and laying claim too one with a deposit.

Just like anyone else with reed-thin patience I was disappointed they didn’t have any in stock, but they were expecting a new shipment of MadAsses to arrive in just over two weeks – talk about Christmas in July.

Let me say that Milwaukee is really lucky to have a local MadAss dealer with Moto-Scoot, which is the country’s first and foremost dealership for the Sachs MadAss. From the minute we walked up, Bill was very friendly and helpful and it was easy to see how passionate he is about the MadAss. The fact that Moto-Scoot is a full-on scooter tuning shop is a huge bonus.

So now I’m waiting (barely) for the middle of July to get here and to get my hands on my new bike. Something tells me it’s going to be a long two weeks.
